Do you think toast can be a substitute for croutons?

I just got excited over making a caesar salad but realised i never got any croutons.

Just casually celebrating that I can fit into my Disco Pants comfortably for the first time ever!
(Sometimes I still think I’m 7 stone and buy the wrong sizes because I ‘bought that size before and it fit’ dumb)
